NICK SAUZA MUSIC

Nick Souza is a Brazilian-Canadian Hip Hop artist who uses his ethnic roots to set him apart from the masses, drawing from genres including Baile Funk, RnB, and Latin Jazz. Pursuing his interest and advancement in music, Nick attends Western University and Fanshawe College’s dual degree MIA program (Recording Arts/Audio Engineering) in London, Ontario. Shadowing under Grammy nominated/Juno Award-Winning producer and engineer Dan Brodbeck, Nick is learning to become a professional producer, songwriter, mix engineer, and master engineer.

Over the course of 2020, Nick Souza participated in the Beat Series, a singing competition for Luso (Portuguese) individuals in the Toronto area. Hosted by MDC Media Group, Nick Souza faced off against 12 other competitors for an overall prize of $5,000 and an album recording contract. Nick went on to win The Beat Series and was signed to MDC Music. In November 2021, he released his first single on the label, Light Show. Nick is entering 2022 more ready than ever to continue with the Souza takeover.
